This section is intended to assist you in finding answers to frequently asked questions about application. We provide this information with the intention to give insight into our processes and to enhance transparency.


F&A Application

If I am not suitable for a particular job, will my application be considered for another vacancy?

Yes, if you have applied for a job, we note on your record that you had been interested in the posted job but were not considered in competition with other applicants. If your profile meets the criteria of another position, we may contact you.

 

If I applied for a position but do not get called for an interview, will I be contacted?

Yes, if you apply for a particular position you will be called if you have been found suitable for interview in competition with other candidates. If suitable for interview, you will be contacted within 4 weeks of the application close-off date. Candidates, who are not short-listed, will receive an email instead.

 

Do I need to include my passport copy, certificates and other relevant documents when I send in an application?

Yes, include all relevant certificates, diplomas etc. if you are applying in response to any advertisement asking for these documents. If you are called for an interview, please bring documents and copies with you as you may be asked to provide them.

 

What is the preferred application method?

We only accept applications by email as this assists us in communicating with you.

 

What happens to my details if I am not successful?

We will not retain your details or application documents if your application is not successful. You can apply at any time for other positions. If you do so, you should update your application document if your details change.

 

Can I apply without an advertisement?

Yes, you can send an unsolicited application any time. Expressing your personal interest is sometimes a good door-opener. Please assess the career opportunities we have within the Lightweight Energy before sending an unsolicited application.

 


F&A Selection

How do you go about selecting people?

Initial selection is via on-line application. On the basis of your application, you may be invited to attend a series of interviews and/or assessment days. These will be conducted by a mixture of recruitment specialists and trained managers from the business area to which you are applying.

 

How do you assess if I am suitable?

Besides the initial assessment of your CV including your experience and qualifications, when we meet you, we assess your "cultural fit" for working with Lightweight Energy, and we assess your technical and behavioural (personal and interpersonal) competencies required to perform well in the position.

 

When could I expect a response after the interview?

We aim to reply to you in writing within 2 weeks of you attending an interview/assessment.

 


F&A Joining

When can/should I resign from my company if Lightweight Energy is interested in me?

We recommend you to resign only once you have completed all your Pre-employment conditions with us. We will advise you as they are completed.

 

How long does it take from the time of the final interview to hear if I am successful or not?

It can be in 1-2 weeks.

 

Does the Lightweight Energy have an education program for new employees?

Yes. Your start within Lightweight Energy is guided by a number of training sessions. We will introduce you to our company, its work culture, our code of business conduct and our corporate guidelines. Depending on your position, you will also be trained in special technical or commercial aspects that apply to your position.
